EVENTS

OPERATIONS

The Events team plans, organises, and runs social events. The team’s work contributes significantly to building the QMFS brand and image while also providing an opportunity for all team members to get to know each other outside of meeting rooms. These events are an important part of securing funding by showing the value of the team socially and academically. The tasks can include:

  • Organizing the welcome fair to attract people to the community.

  • Collaborating with other societies to run events together

  • Ensuring the smooth running of social events such as Go Karting, Secret Santa, etc

  • Overseeing the Excellence awards/ SU group awards and ensuring QMFS get Gold.

A successful applicant will have excellent organization and communication skills to plan and run events smoothly along with good time management to consistently keep up with deadlines.
