The Departments

01

Powertrain

The Powertrains department is responsible for three tasks. First is getting the powertrain to run in the car. The second is integrating the powertrain with the car and with the regulations. The third task is to optimise the powertrain, as its environment within the car and all of its altered ancillaries differs greatly from the environment it was designed for.

03

Chassis

The Chassis department responsible for the operation of the primary structure, general ergonomics and safety components of the vehicle.

05

Aerodynamics

The aerodynamics department is in charge of designing an aero package to meet our goals and improve performance in the dynamic events. This includes preliminary research, CAD, and simulations.

07

Suspension

The suspension department responsible for the design for suspension and steering systems.

02

Drivetrain

Drivetrain looks over all the components required to transfer power from the engine to the wheels while also being responsible for the shifting mechanism and braking.

04

Composite

The composites department is responsible for bring the aerodynamic designs to life, our job is to liaise with the Aero department and find the most efficient way of replicating their designs accurately and quickly.

06

Electronics

Responsible for designing, integrating, and troubleshooting advanced electrical systems, including telemetry, data acquisition, and vehicle control systems, to enhance performance and ensure the race car's reliability.
